New to Grace? First of all, we can not wait to meet you!
At Grace, we are a loving, Jesus-led family. Come once you are visiting, come twice you are our family! When you arrive we want you to feel comfortable and at home immediately. So what can you expect?
Is there something for my kids? The Lord is truly growing the Children’s Ministry at Grace! From Infant care to Youth programs, there is something for all ages of children; Music worship, children's church, bible study, crafts and so much more. We are super excited about our “Fusion” camp for 4k - 12th grade, held each Spring and Fall on Sunday Evenings from 5:00-7:00 pm. This program includes games, crafts, Bible study, praise worship, and dinner!! It is a 6-7 week camp with a celebration festival finale. To keep a watch on upcoming camp dates, see our Children's or Youth Ministry pages. Your children are very important to us and they are the future of our churches. We take their care and their spiritual growth very seriously.
What does a typical Grace service look like? The fellowship of Grace Baptist Church is very much like a reunion of family. We welcome everyone and look forward to getting to know visitors. Once you come twice, you are considered family!! Services begin with “heartfelt, hand-raising” music worship, then the word of God is brought by Pastor Chuck. Pastor Chuck speaks straight from God’s Holy Word. We close with music and an altar call. The altar is seldom empty.
What do I wear? Come as you are! Our focus is more on being in His presence than on your wardrobe.
Do you offer any support for those with special needs/disabilities? We have special needs members and are planning to develop a program specially designed for this population. They are involved in the programs of Grace. If there is a need that is not met, one would simply have to ask. Every effort would be made to meet any and all needs. We have wheelchairs for anyone who might need them. We have headphones for our hearing-impaired.
Do we have activities other than Sunday Service? We enjoy a Wednesday night Bible study for adults and youth. There is Choir practice on Wednesday night as well. A special Spring and Fall Bible study is held for men and women. Our women attend the Women of Joy conference each year. Our men enjoy outside activities such as axe throwing, skeet shooting, etc.
Are we involved in serving the community? The opportunities to serve our community are many. These include serving the homeless at Our Daily Bread, visiting our shut-ins, ministering to those in our nursing homes, giving out hospital visitor bags, building shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse, mission trips, and helping with Fostering Faithfully to name a few. We exist to Serve, Love, Share, and Build.
